Christmas Gift Guide 2014

With December nearing, it's almost that time of year where Christmas shopping is in full swing. Whilst it may seem ludicrously early to be discussing the festive season, when you work in retail with Jingle Bells playing overhead twenty times a day, it's hard not to feel just a little enthusiastic.

So whether you're wanting to seriously splash the cash, or are on a tighter budget, I've compiled a rather extensive list of lust worthy products for both guys and gals, to help give a little inspiration as to what Santa could be bringing in just over a months time.

But before we get started, pour yourself a cuppa, grab a notepad and pen, and maybe even add a certain playlist into the background to help spur you on...

The Beauty Advent Calendars You Need On Your Radar

So I'm back, and if it isn't already evident though the lack of recent posts on this here blog, the craziness of my first assignment of my final year at Uni kind of took over. Thankfully that's all done and handed in now, meaning I'm able to focus on producing content in advance to the mayhem starting again for my next degree shaped task.

However, since Christmas is on it's way (six weeks to be precise) I've been doing a little Googling, all in the name of research, of course, and narrowed down the top beauty advent calendars all blogging peeps would no doubt love to open come December 1st. Depending on your budget, there are a variety of calendars to suit. Whether you fancy trying out what a particular brand has to offer, or instead fancy dipping your toes into 24, keep reading.

First things first, the extravagant...

If you love all things luxury, then the Liberty advent calendar needs to be on your radar, like, right now. At £149, it may be particularly eye watering when it comes to the price side of things, but thanks to it containing £420 worth of beauty, you're getting one hell of a deal. Holding goodies from the likes of Diptyque, Espa and Eve Lom, how could one say no. And the packaging? So supremely chic.

The Wishlist

I am a huuuuge interior buff. I'll rather guiltlessly spend an hour or so browsing the virtual heaven that is Pinterest, drooling over the stunning interiors and nick-knacks. (Is it just me that finds it ridiculously addictive?) After a recent/frequent/whatever you wanna call it, session on the site, my mind was filled with homeware thoughts, so alas, I show you a wishlist of treats I wouldn't mind having in my home.

Also, and maybe I'm late on the bandwagon with this one, but last week I discovered French Connection have a home range - and if you can't tell from the above image below, their stuff is ah-mazing. I sorta, kinda want everything - sorry bank balance. It also turns out that Sainsbury's and Asda stock a great selection of goodies, and for pretty reasonable prices too. And of course, it wouldn't be an interior wishlist if it didn't include a few pieces from Zara Home. It seems my crib's going to be looking pretty decked out in the near future...

Where do you like to shop for homeware bits? Anywhere I should have a browse of?

Zara, day and night.

I've decided to whip up a weekly new feature on my blog showing my top pics when it comes to my favourite brands. Each Friday I'll pick out an outfit (or two) of what I'd rather happily wear, both day, and night. And what better brand to start off with, but Zara.

Interior lovin'

As you may have noticed, ninety percent of my blog wishlists are fashion and beauty based, however that doesn't mean I don't love a bit of interior goodness from time-to-time. Zara Home are absolutely killing it at the moment with their products, I would happily have one of each - please and thank you.

Are you a fan of Zara Home?
