The Basis To The Perfect Nude Lip

In the past, I never truly appreciated the benefits of a good lip liner. A quick swish of lip colour and I was good to go. Naturally, I found my lipstick wasn't lasting the time, so after a quick blog-research session I collected a list of lip liners worth having in my stash. Being a huge nude lip fan, it was perhaps a shade I was most interested in owning, and the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk in particular looked right up my street.

I've dabbled with Charlotte Tilbury in the past (posts here and here) so I knew I was onto something good. A mid-toned, matte nudey pink, it's pretty much the perfect shade for all skin-tones. Although slightly thicker in consistency to other lip liners I've since tried, I find it lasts a hell of a lot longer. Pillow Talk looks amazing with a whole variety of nude lipsticks, (Mac's Pink Plaid is a personal favourite) however the colour is so beautiful I often sport it on it's own.

If I'm ever left with 10 or so minutes to get ready, this is always the first product I will pick up as I find it helps me to look a little more groomed. I will 100% be picking up another as soon as I've used it up, as it's up there with my favourite ever makeup essentials.

Are you a fan of Charlotte Tilbury? What are your favourite pieces from her range?
