How to have the perfect Winter night in.

Blogger Festive Night In

I'll be honest, I am a 26 year old, self-confessed grandma that absolutely loves a cosy night at home.

Don't get me wrong, an evening out with a few bevvies is also a good'n, but getting engrossed into a film with all the snacks is the one. Call me boring, but the heart wants what the heart wants, no?

With that in mind, I thought I'd share a wee post ft. my favourite things for the dreamy, humble abode occasion.

Set the mood

So it's no secret that the Philip's Hue Bulbs are bloody incredible. I love how easy it is to change the overall vibe of a room in a matter of seconds. Once they've been attended to, its all about added illumination with fairy lights and candles. Especially this time of year, me and my boyfriend go WILD in pretty much every room of the house...

Edible delights

Obviously snacks are a major part of a Winter night in. Sweet or savoury, I ain't too fussy.

A bath, duh

I cannot begin to express how ecstatic I am to have a bath in my house. Being a mega tub fan (and following 12 months in a rented property with a walk-in shower), I am in my element. Y'can even add in a sprinkle of festive joy with a glass of mulled wine whilst your face mask is doing its thing. It's the little things.

OOTN

Never mind your outfit of the day. Is there truly a better feeling than putting on some 10/10 nightwear? Finish off with a pair of fluffy socks and you're officially winning.

Binge watch

Last, but by no means least, a good movie and/or tv show. We recently watched the full Harry Potter box set from start to finish, and boy oh boy, what a treat it was. This time of year offers the perfect excuse to do such a thing, and I ain't mad about it.

What are your favourite things to do on a Winters evening? What have you been binge-watching recently?
