Bumble and Bumble Sunday Shampoo

The start of a new year more often than not means a detox is on the cards. That being said, it certainly doesn't just have to revolve around ones diet. That mop upon that head of yours needs a detox just as much as the rest of your body. Whilst there are many clarifying shampoos on the market, Bumble and Bumble's offering is definitely the best I've sampled.

The Sunday Shampoo is a cleansing shampoo (obvs) which promises to remove a combination of nasties, such as product residue, hard water minerals and pollutants. As the name suggests, the product is designed to be used once a week. Due to its (rather splendid) cleansing properties, overuse can actually result in dried out locks. Since I'm such a rebellious individual, I used it when washing my hair today. Oh I know, today is Thursday. Bad ass.

After use, your hair is left feeling squeaky clean, super soft and voluminous. Like all Bumble products, you only need the smallest amount. Around a 50p sized blob does the job for me, meaning the above bottle has lasted me since early May last year. Retailing at £17, yes, it is pretty eye-watering, but I will certainly continue to repurchase as I feel it shows instant results. Have you tried the Sunday Shampoo?

Also, since this is my first post of 2014, now is the perfect opportunity to wish you all a Happy New Year!

  4. £17 is pretty good considering it only needs to be used once a week. I don't really use products on my hair, except the odd serum or oil on my ends. I used to use apple cider vinegar as a kind of clarifying shampoo when I used a lot of hairspray and found it works pretty well (something to do with it's pH or whatever, I looked it up but it's ben a while!). Loved this review though, made me laugh :)
