Something I've noticed on numerous blogs the past year or so is mention of the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer. Nars is a brand I've sampled only a few times thanks to the famous Laguna Bronzer, (review here) however after running out of my Origins Plantscription I felt I needed to jump on the bandwagon and try it out for myself.
Although I don't often suffer from blemishes, being fair I'm prone to dark circles under the eye area. The Radiant Creamy Concealer boasts a blend-able, creamy (as the name suggests) and long-lasting formula which works like a dream when applied to eye bags. The formula is somewhat similar to said Origins concealer, however this alternative gets my vote due to it's extra moisturising properties. Dupe wise, if you've sampled the Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection both are fairly alike, though this seriously kicks it's ass. I like to apply this over foundation with my Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge, slightly dampened, and I'm left with a flawless, dewy finish.
I took the risk and ordered online, but managed to get it just right with the shade, Vanilla - the second to lightest shade in the range. Unlike many brands, Nars offer a wide colour range to make up lovers, with a whopping 10 shades to chose from. At £22 it's not cheap by any means, but the high-quality of the product means you certainly get your money's worth. Although I'm hoping I won't have to be doing so anytime soon, I will definitely be repurchasing this once I've used it up.
Have you tried the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer? What did you think?
Having used the Collection lasting perfection for about a year I also purchased the Nars Concealer in Vanilla a few months ago. I totally agree that they are similar, but the Nars is better as it just blends beautifully. I like the idea of using a RT Sponge to blend, so I will definitely be trying that :)! I always use a very small amount in hope that it won't run out too quickly.
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely one isn't it? Definitely recommend picking up the RT sponge! x
