Liberty London Beauty Advent Calendar Days 1-10 Product Reveal

So it would seem I've been an exceptionally well behaved lady this year, as Santa made an early trip to my house on the 1st of December and brought along the most awesome of all beauty shaped gifts - the Liberty London Advent Calendar. Of course I love me a good chocolate advent, but when the offer arose for me to receive Liberty's offering as an early Christmas present, I wasn't going to say no now was I?

Beautifully packaged, the 25 drawer calendar features the instantly recognisable Liberty store front, with the doors unveiling the brands own Hera Peacock Print. Retailing at £149. it's certainly not cheap, but considering it holds £420 worth of high-end treats, you can see why. Unfortunately the calendar is now sold out, however I thought a quick round-up of what's inside each drawer might be nice for those looking for some new beauty products to try out. Once I've tested each and gained a true impression I will also be posting thorough reviews on my thoughts so keep checking back on my blog for that!

Day 1: Liberty London bath and body lavender soap (200g) Day one held the most luxuriously packed soap I think I've ever seen. Like the calendar itself, the soap is wrapped in the classic Hera print, crafted in Devon using natural fragrances from Grasse, France. Is it bad that I almost don't  want to use this? It's just looks so darn pretty sat on my shelf...

Day 2: Nars Deep Throat blush (4g) I've been a fan of Nars for years, so unsurprisingly I was pretty happy when I pulled this out from day two's drawer. The suggestively named blush is one I've had my eye on for a very long time, and the fact it's miniature sized means I can carry it around in my makeup bag for top-ups throughout the day. Result.

Day 3: Aromatherapy Associates Renewing Rose Cleanser (30ml) A brand I've always wanted to try, Aromatherapy Associates is pure luxury. I've been switching between this and two other cleansers to be revealed further down this list, however it's seriously great. Containing damask rose, jojoba and geranium, not only does the product smell divine, it feels both soothing and softening on the skin. The travel size is also a definite plus.

Day 4: Margaret Dabbs Nourishing Nail & Cuticle Serum (15ml) This time of year, my nails completely suck. My skin (and especially hands) are prone to dryness, so the Margaret Dabbs Nourishing Nail & Cuticle Serum certainly came at a good time. Since finding within day four's drawer, I've been using the serum every night before bed and so far it's doing a cracking job at keeping my nail area super soft.

Day 5: Josh Wood Atelier £25 voucher I am literally the worst person at getting my hair done. I don't go half often enough, however this Josh Wood Atelier voucher for his salon within Liberty is the perfect opportunity for me to go get a chop next time I'm in London. Happy hair times.

Day 6: Kiehl's Creme de Corps moisturiser (30ml) Again another brand I've been itching to try, this time Kiehl's with one of their most  famous products. Containing cocoa butter and sesame seed oil, Creme de Corps is the ideal body moisturiser for this time of year. Plus it smells delish, which is a definite bonus.

Day 7: Trish Mcevoy Line Refiner (4.25g) Being 21, I'm yet to really worry about expression lines, however having said that, it's never too early to get into the routine of incorporating this form of product into your beauty regime. The Trish Mcevoy Line Refiner is designed to be used over or underneath makeup, working to plump up facial lines. A full sized calendar treat, the product normally retails for £22.

Day 8: REN Rosa Centifolia Express Makeup Remover (50ml) Yet another brand I'm a huge fan of, day eight of the calendar featured a 50ml pump bottle of the REN Rosa Centifolia Express Makeup Remover. Suitable for both the skin and eyes, the cleanser is seriously gentle and seriously badass at removing makeup - waterproof mascara doesn't stand a chance when met with this. So far, I'm impressed.

Day 9: Hourglass  Femme Rouge Velvet Lipstick in Grace (1G) Admittedly I'm yet to use this, however Grace is exactly the kind of shade I reach for on a daily basis. Being Hourglass, I'm pretty certain this will get a big thumbs up from me if the previous brand reviews I've read are anything to go by. Plus its minuscule size may just make it the cutest piece of  makeup I own.

Day 10: ESPA Pro Cleanser (30ml) Without doubt, my favourite reveal from the first ten days of the calendar. Described as a 'tri-phase multifunctional gel cleanser, exfoliator and mask', Pro Cleanser is awesome in a 30ml bottle. From first use, my skin was left feeling nourished, cleansed and smooth. Definitely one for the added glow factor.

I'm aware as I'm posting this we're on day 12 of December, however I'll be uploading another round up come the 20th featuring the treats I've unveiled since. I'll also be writing reviews of each product once I've had the chance to develop a full impression so keep your eyes peeled for that.

Have you gone for a beauty advent calendar this year? What are your impressions so far?
