Christmas Gift Guide 2014

With December nearing, it's almost that time of year where Christmas shopping is in full swing. Whilst it may seem ludicrously early to be discussing the festive season, when you work in retail with Jingle Bells playing overhead twenty times a day, it's hard not to feel just a little enthusiastic.

So whether you're wanting to seriously splash the cash, or are on a tighter budget, I've compiled a rather extensive list of lust worthy products for both guys and gals, to help give a little inspiration as to what Santa could be bringing in just over a months time.

But before we get started, pour yourself a cuppa, grab a notepad and pen, and maybe even add a certain playlist into the background to help spur you on...

For her...

Stocking fillers

If you're looking for that little extra something to give to someone special, then perhaps one of my stocking filler picks may be the perfect addition. Ranging from just £3.50 to £10, each item is all kinds of awesome - minus the hefty price tag. Whether braving the high street or shopping online is your kinda thing, it's your call with each of the items featured throughout this gift guide, which is a total winner if you ask me.

£50 and under

Upping the price a little, we have the £50 and under category. Whether baths, makeup, skincare or reading is their kind of thing, they're guaranteed to love any of the above. Of course, what gift guide would be complete without a candle, with The White Company Winter fragrance topping the list due to it's seasonally appropriate scent. Although I for one am a huge beauty buff, how awesome is this Mimico mermaid power tube? For me this would prove a total life saver for my horrific iPhone battery life, but it can also be used with your mp3 player, camera, or other branded smartphone. Amazing.

£200 and under

Now we're onto the seriously luxe gift category, £200 and under. With fashion, technology and beauty gifts ranging from £55 to £150, there's a present to suit all kinds of chick. From snazzy kicks to the camera of the moment, you can guarantee the receiver would be, as Toy Story states, eternally grateful.

For him...

Stocking fillers

Again keeping under £10, a collection of stocking fillers to not only keep him entertained, but both looking and smelling good, (the latter due to this Fat Face combo, obviously). Not that I'm a dude, but lets for arguments sake say I was, I would particularly enjoy the rather snazzy little decision book, due to my indecisiveness, the Scrabble fridge magnets to spell out silly things, and the animal mustache calendar, just because.

£50 and under
Again, I've ensured my £50 and under category caters to all kinds of fellas, whether music, skincare, fashion or simply random is their scene. From Liz Earle and Cheap Monday, to Next and Hotel Chocolat, you'd no doubt be their favourite human should you hand over any of these treats. And frankly, who doesn't love a good old jumper this time of year?

£200 and under

Time for the luxury, only this time round, less beauty, more err, guy stuff. Fellas are known to be the trickier sex to buy for, so hopefully this wee collection of goodies will cut the hard work for you. From one seriously pricey book, to a pair of bad ass boots, if you have the cash to splash and wanna be in the good books, see above.

So there we have it, my rather lengthy, but hopefully helpful Christmas gift guide for the upcoming festive season. Although the central aim of the post was to inspire you on your future shopping ventures, it may have even sparked a few ideas as to what you'll be asking for from Santa Claus?

What will you be buying for your loved ones this year? And lastly, surely I'm not alone in feeling excited about Christmas already?!
