Current Hair Heroes.

So I've recently acquired a few new products in the hair department as of late, so I thought I'd share a wee post showing them all along with my thoughts. They're all pretty fresh to the beauty world (minus one), so I'm looking forward to spilling the beans!

For starters, I ran out of my beloved Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray so picked up a mini bottle of the Surf Infusion to try. I think I might do a detailed comparison post, but the Infusion is basically the one to go for if you're looking for shine alongside texture, whereas the original surf spray offers a more matte finish.

Next up comes courtesy of Fudge Urban with the Hair Art Colour Sprays*. Think hair chalk in spray form, these are perfect for gals and guys looking to experiment with their colour without the worry of committing. Spray in Friday night and your hair will back to normal come Monday morning. Magical. Having tried Turquoise Noise* and Coral Crush*, I'm seriously feelin' the urge to add a little permanent colour to my tresses (?). Under the £6 mark, these bad boys are a total steal. Keep checkin' back at the blog for a full post on the stuff very soon.

More tint-themed treats, (this time on the more natural side of things) we have the Charles Worthington Colour Revive Mousse*. With five shades available, whether you're a blondie looking to tone your locks or a brunette in need of a colour boost, there's one in mind for you. A small pump of the mousse distributed throughout the hair will leave it looking vibrant, shiny and refreshed. Those with dyed locks will no doubt fall head over heels for this range as it'll give you a little extra time to book your overdue hair appointment *fist pumps the air*.

Back to the whole surfer gal, bed-head kinda look that I forever long for, the TRESemmé Perfectly Undone Wave Creating Foam is all kinds of awesome. If you're wanting a little extra body and bounce, pick this up, stat. Nothing too extreme, it just adds a hint of somethin' somethin'  to your mane and stops it looking so flat. As the name would suggests, the product gives the appearance of unkempt hair, but in the best way possible, and, at under £6 for a generous bottle (mine pictured is only 50ml), it's an epic, epic bargain.

To add some moisture back into my locks, the Lee Stafford Moisturising Hair Butter* is a total staple. With the texture of butter, it's quite an unusual one to use, but boy does it work a treat. Thanks to its two key ingredients, Shea Butter and Baobab Oil (from the African Baobab tree), the hair is left silky soft and smelling great. I love using this as part of my Sunday night pamper routine.

Finally, my all time favourite grit-giving hero is the Charles Worthington Volume & Bounce Texturising Spray. Supposedly a dupe for the renowned Oribe offering, this does it all but for a fraction of the price. It smells like a dream, works like a dream, and, I guess it sorta kinda leaves your hair looking like a dream too? Can you tell I'm a fan?

What products have you been loving recently? Any hair delights you'd recommend snapping up?

  1. Looking forward to seeing more about the surf infusion spray, it was the matte look that always put me off the surf spray so added shine and texture really appeals to me!
