What To Watch On Netflix.

So it's Monday night, you're (hopefully) sat chillin' with a tub of ice cream, and wondering what the hell to watch. Well, well, well, my friends, have I come to your rescue.

If you're a fellow Netflix addict, you'll most likely be able to empathize with me here... The vast selection of films and documentaries, is both a blessing and a curse. Whilst you're presented with hundreds of awesome choices to entertain your little peepers, there are also, let's be frank here, quite a few that stink.

Therefore, I've done the hard work and narrowed down the things that are well worth a watch, meaning you can spend less time endlessly browsing, and more eating Oreos and cuddling your dog.

Gossip Girl
Alright, so yes, I am starting off with the blatantly obvious, but how could I not give this a mention? I re-watched Gossip Girl earlier in the year and finally finished all six series... Mind. blown. If you're yet to give it a whirl seriously, do it. I must add, however, that is very, very addictive and once you finish the episodes you will wonder what to do with your newly-found spare time. But life does, in fact, go on after you've finished the GG season finale, so allow me to continue this post with a few other alternatives...

Louis Theroux
Louis has four different shows to choose from over on Netflix, some one off, some full-series. Each of his episodes cover controversial topics in a very articulate, engaging manner. Again, a very addictive and fascinating selection of series.

American Horror Story
How to describe AHS?.. If you're a fan of thrilling and slightly creepy shows with a few saucy scenes thrown in for good measure, give this one a watch. Admittedly I wasn't so keen on season 3, but 1 and 2 are both awesome. Essentially an anthology series with everything from a haunted house, a mental asylum and a witch coven, each season presents new characters, but with the same cast throughout. Basically, go watch it cos it rocks.

Bates Motel
Again with another thriller, Bates Motel is a modern-day prequel to the film 'Psycho', portraying the teenage years of Norman Bates and the relationship with his mother. If you've seen the 2005 adaptation of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, you may recognise 'Charlie' in a very different role. BM is one of the best series I've seen in a long time.

David Attenborough
Like, duh? Mr Attenborough is one cool, collected chap and I adore every single one of his shows. Yes, 22 year old granny, blah blah, but each episode/series is engaging and beautifully shot. Sit back, relax, and pop on Planet Earth - you'll be thanking me later.

Russel Brand
I love me a bit of Russel Brand. There's unfortunately only one short episode of his to view over on Netflix, but it's better than nothing, right? I just wish they would upload Ponderland as that show is seriously hysterical.

The Inbetweeners
Keepin' it classy, we have The Inbetweeners. Just a heads up, don't ever not watch this for a while, forget how crude it is, and thus, buy the box set for your Dad for Father's Day... Sorry Pops. Having said that, the show is in fact very funny, but just maybe not one to watch with the folks.

I've also watched a few episodes of Once Upon a Time and Breaking Bad but I'm not so sure if I can give into the hype... have you seen either? What would you recommend on Netflix?
