Origins Clear Improvements Mask

If you're into your skincare, then you will have no doubt heard a thing or two about this product. I've actually had a tube in my stash for quite some time now, so a big slap on the wrist for me for taking so darn long to review it.

The Origins Clear Improvement Mask is designed to draw out the impurities deep within the pores. Containing active charcoal, white china clay and lecithin, the mask is the perfect addition for anyone suffering from oily skin. Saying that, I don't class my skin-type as 'oily'. It's generally both spot and oil free, with a tenancy for a little dryness from time-to-time. The only area that my pores get clogged is on and around my nose, which is where I apply Clear Improvement.

I use this once or twice a week, after a bath so my pores are opened. The consistency is quite thick so you really don't need much at all. In fact this 50ml tube has lasted me half a year and I still have a load left, making it total value for money at around £10.

After use, the skin is left feeling incredibly soft and smooth. Congestion wise, if you're looking for instant, one-use results, then you should probably look elsewhere. One application doesn't melt away all your impurities, however repeated use certainly helps to.

It's also quite a handy little product to have when you can feel a spot coming on. Popping it on the required area dries it up no problem, working similar to a spot treatment.

I totally class this as a staple for my skincare routine and I will most definitely be picking up another tube once I run out. Another awesome creation from Origins.

  1. This sounds like my perfect product, I have bad pores on my nose and suffer from oily skin. £10 for 50ml definitely seems like a bargain to me, I will have to pick this up. :D
