Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita Eyeshadow Palette

If you a regular reader of my blog, then you'll already know that I'm a big time lover of the Charlotte Tilbury make up range. (Check out my The Rock 'n' Kohl Iconic Liquid Eye Pencil review, here). Out of the two CT products I was given for Christmas (lucky me!) I was definitely most excited about getting my lil mitts on the Dolce Vita palette. After hearing many incredible reviews, I knew I was in for something good.

A quad of beautiful warm browns and shimmers, the shades within the Dolve Vita palette are designed to be worn both together, and on their own. Working clockwise from the top left we have the Prime shade, a pale champagne shimmer, Enhance, a warm-toned copper, Smoke, a deep chocolate and finally Pop, a warm bronze. Both the pigmentation and the lasting power of the palette is amazing. No Nars primer needed here. The texture of the shadows is definitely a winner too, creamy and buttery soft, making it almost hard to believe they're actually a powder format.

The palette is definitely one for the evening, but if you have a tenancy to wear a lot of eye make up during the daytime, then go forth and snap this little gem up, pronto!  If these shades aren't up your street, however, then don't turn your head on the rest of Charlotte's range. Oh no, there are seven other palettes to feast your eyes on, all inspired by the style icons of today. From The Sophisticate, inspired by Natalie Portman, to Uptown Girl, inspired by Kate Middleton. The Dolce Vita was designed in-mind of a Kim Kardashian make up look, although I can't say this was what pushed me to try the palette!

At £38, it's definitely a luxury item, but the high quality means it's something that's definitely worth forking out for.
