New In From Pixi By Petra #3

If you're new around these parts, then let me just quickly say I am pretty much obsessed with the Pixi by Petra brand. Moderately fresh to the UK market (they're now stocked in Marks & Spencer, eek), I was blissfully unaware of the power of their products until the end of the summer. Since this time, I've collected quite the stash, and am finding myself reaching for the lot on a pretty much daily basis.

Pixi were kind enough to send me a few more skin and makeup themed treats, so today I'm gonna spill the beans on my thoughts *hint - they're seriously swoon-worthy*...

To start, the Nourishing Cleansing Balm* (£18). A balm-to-oil formula, it works to melt away makeup and impurities, with ingredients such as shea butter, vitamin e and sweet almond oil leaving your skin clean, soft and glowing. This has quickly become a staple in my routine and is reserved for use come the eve. Oh, and yes, it really does feel as luxurious as it sounds.

When it comes to adding some much-needed hydration into my A/W skin, the Rose Oil Blend* (£26) is a total must. It's slightly richer in consistency than other oils I've used in the past, but frankly that equals a big thumbs up from me as it feels more nourishing upon application. It's a must have if you're looking for something to even out your complexion, and, like most Pixi products, it smells like a dream.

The Glowtion Day Dew* (£24) is the perfect finishing touch to your skincare regime. Like the other two, it's focused on giving your skin that dewy look that I love oh-so much. Ideal for mornings, its lightweight, illuminating formula helps to give that lit-from-within appearance (not too dissimilar from the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette - check my review here for the 411 on that). Essentially this is a great moisturiser pre-makeup application and one I like to combine with the above oil for that little extra bit of moisture.

Finally, we have a Pixi exclusive (only found in the brand's Carnaby Street store). The Book of Beauty Minimal Makeup Palette* (£24) is not only so damn pretty to look at, but it also holds everything you could ever need for a low key, barely there daily routine. I'm talkin' eyeshadows, blusher, bronzer and two very gorgeous highlighters. I've actually managed to find it on the Marks and Spencer site, so if you like the sound of it, head here for more info. I've dabbled with quite a few makeup products from the Pixi range now, and, like the others, the quality of this palette is amazing.

Pixi, you've done it again. I'm completely and utterly hooked.

Are you a fan of the Pixi brand? Have I tempted you to try out any of the above? I'd love to know your recommendations!
