Beach Hair With Fudge Urban.

Considering I spend half my time rambling on about beauty products online, I should probably be a little more ashamed when it comes to admitting how lazy I am with my hair. A little while back now I had it cut it short (or at least, ''short'' for what it used to be), and since doing so, I've really had to switch up my routine (ironically, having less hair has resulted in more time needed in front of the mirror first thing on a morning).

To help me counteract this time-consuming issue ('cos who really wants to be slaving away on their locks when half asleep?), I've found myself trying out a fair few products that claim to assist in giving that whole 'done yet undone' look that I love oh-so much. The Bumble & Bumble Surf Foam Wash Shampoo (£18.50) and Surf Creme Rinse Conditioner (£20.50) in particular get a big fat thumbs up from me, but generally speaking, I like a little extra somethin' somethin' to keep my hair in check, and for this, I reach for a whole lot of Fudge Urban.

After washing, I give my hair a quick, but thorough brush through with my Tangle Teezer (£10.50), a step that is imperative to ensure I don't end up looking like Chewbacca. After this I give it a slight ruffle with my hands whilst spritzing in a good amount of the Fudge Urban Sea Salt Texturising Spray (£6.99). I absolutely adore the scent of this. It's unlike other salt sprays I've tried in the past as it doesn't smell overly salty, more 'tropical', so it's more wearable in that sense. Following this, I will either leave my hair to air-dry, or if I'm nipping out shortly after/heading to bed I'll give it a quick blast with my hairdryer. As you've probably already established, I'm personally not a fan of the super sleek look (at least on myself - I don't think it suits me all that well), so I don't spend too long perfecting this step.

If my hair is still looking a little flat (probably slightly unlikely after using the above, no?) I'll add in a touch more salt spray, or instead sprinkle in some of the Fudge Urban Powder Styler (£6.99), designed to add some serious va-va-voom to roots. When it comes to styling freshly washed hair, that's normally about it for me, but come the morning after, my locks can often need an extra boost. Enter the Fudge Urban Crisp Pear & Sweet Vanilla Texture Spray (£6.99). Volume, grit, texture and bounce, this bad boy does it all, and very well I may add. Also, in case you didn't already notice from the product title, the scent of this is incredible - you will find yourself hair flicking all day, every day after use, no lie.

So there we have it, my ridiculously lengthy, ridiculous excessive hair routine (jokes). Are you a fan of Bumble and Fudge Urban? What products do you like to use on your hair? I'd love to know any recommendations you may have!

  1. I'd love to try their salt spray - the one I'm currently using smells awful!
