Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel.

More beauty talk from me, today discussing something of a cult product. I've had the Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel on my radar for quite some time now, and, after my most recent trip to Space NK, I decided to treat myself (and my skin) to a tube of the stuff.

Having had a bit a mare with my skin as of late, I was in the market for a new cleanser to try. Of course, being in Space NK I was definitely in the right place, but for the sake of my complexion, rather than experimenting I thought I best stick to a classic and purchase what Oskia had to offer.

But does it do the trick? To sum it up quickly, yes - and more. I've been using it daily for around five weeks now and my skin has been pretty much thanking me the entire time. Bar a few, I've had no new breakouts, less dehydration and a lot less redness. Overall my skin is looking good as new. Calm, (mostly) clear and soft as a baby's butt. Of course, it's not a miracle worker, (I'd like you to introduce me to a cleanser that is!) so every now and again I'll get a small blemish, but I find using this helps said blemish to disappear, stat.

The aroma and feel of a beauty product can naturally give it a few extra brownie points, and this one certainly delivers. With a gel-to-oil consistency, a small pump of the cleanser melts into the skin beautifully, and isn't that dissimilar to a mini spa experience. Scent wise, think Turkish delight - but better.

At £28, it certainly isn't cheap by any stretch of the imagination, but considering it's a real luxury to use (you also only need the smallest amount per use) and it's helped to both soothe and treat my skin, it's something I will be purchasing again and again.

My only slightly hang-up with the gel is the packaging. Obviously it's very aesthetically pleasing and certainly looks the part on your bathroom shelf, but there's no clear way to tell when you're running low. This isn't the biggest issue, but it's sure to be a disappointing day when it does run out (maybe just an excuse to have a back-up in your cupboard, no?).

Overall I'm blown away by the product (and the Oskia brand!), and I now have a new-found love for the cleansing step in my daily routine.

Have you tried the Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel? Have I tempted you? What products would you recommend looking at during my next Space NK trip? I'd also love to know if you're a fan of any other products from Oskia!

*A quick side note: I snapped up my treat in the Harrogate Space NK, and I have to say the staff were so lovely, helpful and chatty. If you're in the area I'd highly recommend popping in, as not only do they seriously know their stuff, but they're clearly very fond of everything beauty.*
