Falling Foss Tea Garden.

Just a quick post from me today, but I wanted to talk about a mini road trip I ventured on last week to a place by the name of Falling Foss.

Falling Foss is a very zen spot in the heart of north yorkshire, just off the Sandsend coast line. I'd only been once before, last summer, but with the sun blazing down this time round, my camera just had to come along with me.

Whilst our visit focused on what the menu had to offer, the tea garden is also surrounded by forest, hiking routes, and a beautiful waterfall, making it the ideal location for those looking for a little adventure.

As the pictures show, the location is absolutely stunning.

The interior and overall layout of the tea garden is also worth a mention. Simplistic picnic tables located beneath a sweeping gazeebo-style roof. On the tables sit freshly cut flowers and herbs sat within vintage lemonade bottles. Gorgeous.

When it came to the food side of things, we were pretty darn hungry, so opted for two main dishes to share between us - a Mediterranean board and Greek salad. As a hummus, bread and olive fanatic, I was very pleased indeed.

Though both dishes satisfied our hunger levels, we couldn't help but notice the sweet treats on offer - so this happened...

Can we take a moment to appreciate how good this scone looks? As I'm sure you will imagine, it tasted AH-MAZING. Definitely going to have to go back stat, for another.

The set-up of the whole place is fantastic and would be sure to make the perfect family day out. Even I was a little tempted by the miniature rock climbing frame and tree house...

The stunning, 30-foot Falling Foss waterfall...

Just a few of the walks surrounding the tea garden. The location really wouldn't look out of place in a Disney movie.

Apologies for the picture-heavy post, I guess you could say I got a little snap-happy with my camera, no?

Have you visited Falling Foss? Is it somewhere you'd be interested in going?
