The Fragrance Shop Spring Discovery Box.

It's only the past few months that I've really become interested in expanding my fragrance wardrobe.

Whilst I still adore the famed, Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess, I'm now pretty much exclusive to the phenomenal Escentric Molecules Molecule 01, (blog post here). However, when The Fragrance Shop Spring Discovery Box* popped through my letterbox, I was somewhat intrigued.

A quarterly subscription, this treat hits your doorstep offering a variety of fragrance samples and product discounts. Priced at just £5 a box, it's the perfect solution for those who like to experiment with scent, or simply try before buying a full bottle. As previously mentioned, each box is filled with money off vouchers for the fragrances included, so, if you like what you smell, you can save a few extra pennies.

The Spring Discovery Box consists of seven fragrance samples, six targeting females, and one for males. A mix of 1, and 2ml bottles, they're the perfect size for throwing in your handbag.

What to expect:

Hugo Boss, Hugo Woman at £44.50 for 50ml
Fruity and floral, Hugo Woman combines classic, feminine notes with an unexpected masculine twist. With notes of Italian mandarin, Himalayan red grass, sandalwood and black plum, it's something I'll be reaching for through to the end of summer.

Versace, Eros Pour Femme at £69.50 for 50ml
This is the first Versace fragrance I've tried and I have to say I'm impressed. It's both floral and musky, with notes of Sicilian lemon, pomegranate and peony. It's the most expensive pick from the Discovery Box, but you could say it's delightful aroma justifies this.

Guerlain, La Petite Robe Noire at £51.50 for 50ml
La Petite Robe Noire is a very sophisticated, elegant scent. The combination of lemon, rose and pistachio makes for the  ideal accessory to your little black dress.

Givenchy, Very Irresistible at £54.50 for 50ml
My Mum has this scent in her stash, so naturally I'm a fan. Floral and fresh with a hint of rose blossom, Very Irresistible is well, irresistible.

Dolce & Gabbana, Dolce Floral Drops at £57.00 for 50ml
Floral Drops isn't something I would normally lean towards with it's description. however it really is something special. Fresh and light, it's inspired by the beautiful fragrance of freshly picked flowers. Of course, this is going to be an appealing scent, so you can catch me spritzing this on  on numerous occasions..

Stella Mcartney, Stella EDT at £56.50 for 50ml
Stella EDT is one of the brand's newer launches, which unsurprisingly happens to be perfect for the season ahead. With notes of fresh mandarin, frozen lemon and violet, the light fragrance is wearable both day and night.

Versace, Eros at £47.00 for 50ml
I can't say I really know what I'm talking about when it comes to guys fragrance, however if the man in your life is fond of oriental, woody scents, then Eros is well worth a try. With notes of vanilla, cedarwood and mint oil, it's a very pleasant eau de toilette indeed.

The Fragrance Shop Spring Discovery Box* is a great concept and something I would highly recommend checking out. If you're big on your fragrance, £20 a year (£5 per box) for the rolling contract is one major, major bargain.

Will you be snapping one up for yourself?
