Benefit Roller Lash Mascara.

I'm going to start off by saying just how overdue this post is. With my dissertation and University deadlines taking over life, spare time was pretty bloomin' limited up until the past few days. That aside, this post can wait no longer, so if you fancy reading up on a seriously bad-ass mascara, keep on scrollin'.

Not so long ago, a rather exciting surprise parcel landed on my doorstep from the Benebabes over at Benefit Cosmetics. Packaged in a super girly pink vanity case held a handful of goodies to pamper the eyes, plus, the personalised sleeping mask pictured above - awesome, no? Alongside the March issue of Elle was the reasoning behind the girly treat - a sample of the brand's latest launch, Roller Lash*.

You may have since already sampled the mascara for yourself thanks to the freebie in Elle Magazine, however if not you seriously need to be giving this one a go. Of course, like all Benefit products, Roller Lash rocks in the packaging department, with the mascara, as the name suggests, designed to act as a 'roller for the lashes'. With it's revolutionary 'hook 'n' roll' brush, the wand works to both lift and curl.

As opposed to the the brand's other famed mascara, 'They're Real', Roller Lash gives a more natural, fluttery effect, though doesn't quite match up to the voluminous finish of the aforementioned. Personally, I much prefer the latest launch as it gives zero clumps whilst allowing you to layer applications, however if dramatic lashes are your thing, you may be best opting for They're Real.

I love the natural effect the product has on my lashes, and it's definitely up there as one of my favourite mascaras of all time. If you have fairly 'meh' eyelashes (like myself) when it comes to the whole length and curl department, you will definitely get along with this. As soon as I've finished my sample I'll be heading straight to the Benefit counter to pick up another as it's something I find myself reaching for on a daily basis.

You can pick up the fabulous Roller Lash* for £19.50 from Benefit, Boots and other major department stores. Have you tried this mascara? Or have I tempted you to snap one up for yourself?
