Lush Mint Julips Lip Scrub

Each year, as the summer draws to a close, my lips transform into a rather unfortunate, dry state. Of course this is not only physically uncomfortable, but a pain in the ass for a lip product junkie like myself. I've tried pretty much every lip balm out there, with the likes of Vaseline to Eight Hour Cream, however using single-handily unfortunately doesn't solve my pout-shaped woes. Of course it would make sense that like ones skin, exfoliation is a complete necessity to ensure dryness isn't an issue, so the moment the Autumn season nears, Lush's Lip Scrub becomes an complete essential in my beauty stash.

Being a total chocoholic, I originally dabbled in Sweet Lips, a vanilla and chocolate mix (which I believe is now no longer available) however once finishing that 25g tub of goodness, I moved on to Mint Julips, again containing chocolate. I find using the scrub not only smooths away dry patches on my lips, but ensures any product that follows applies evenly, and lasts a hell of a lot longer. It's also worth mentioning that the taste of the stuff is pretty delightful too, imaginably. If you're a mint choc chip fan, then you're pretty much guaranteed to love this.

At £5.50, the product is brilliantly priced considering the quality, size and longevity, and a total must-have for the cooler months ahead.

  1. I use the Lush lip scrub! However, I've recently found a DIY version which is much cheaper and works just as well. I swear by this now, but still wouldn't be able to go without a lip scrub! :)
