I ain't a powder kinda girl. Combine with pesky dry skin, and you're left with a cakey, unattractive mess. However sometimes, there's just no avoiding the stuff unless you fancy looking a little... sweaty. I've only tried a few powdered offerings in my time and never managed to make a match, until heading over to the Bourjois stand, that is.
The Healthy Balance Powder was yet another 'need' for my stash after hearing Amelia sing it's praises. Described as a radiance boosting, skin re-balancing powder, it adds a hint of colour to the complexion, all while taking any excess shine from the skin, without. It's clever, un-matifying properties are what I like the most about this product, due to me opting for a more natural base most days. When combined with a dewy finish foundation, you're left with even, glowy skin with just that extra bit of staying power.
At £8.99, it's more than I would normally spend on a powder, however I picked it up back at the start of the summer when Boots had a 3 for 2 offer on, and I'm definitely glad I did. You can get your hands on the Bourjois Healthy Balance powder both online and in store in Superdrug and Boots.
Are you a fan of facial powders? Are there any other non-matifyers you would recommend?
Ooh this sounds really good, I don't have dry skin but I get worried I'll look cakey so this sounds ideal :)

It's great at taking away any unwanted grease without mattifying, totally awesome stuff x
DeleteThis is awesome! I have dry skin too, so it'd be lovely to have something that just did the job rather than cause that cakey face look! Thanks for sharing :)

DeleteThis sounds really good! A lot of powders are a bit too mattifying, I love that this one isn't cakey :) xx
