Soap & Glory Make yourself youthful sunshield superfluid spf 50+

The past few months, I've been making an increased effort when it comes to protecting my skin from the dangers of the sun. It's not that I didn't already do this, but being a naturally fair person, I rather guiltily admit that I perhaps wasn't as strict as I could've been.

For example, rewind several years to one particular family holiday, where I refused to be seen without a full face of makeup no matter where our sunny adventures took us. Due to the said caked makeup, it meant I wasn't applying an SPF as frequently as I should have. Foolish. I was also convinced that if I used a lower SPF, and only applied every now and again, that I would develop a nice, glowing tan. Big mistake, and one that as you can imagine, totally didn't work. Now that I'm a fair bit older and perhaps a tad wiser, you're more likely to see me au naturel when I'm sunning it up, with a well protected body. Is it really worth damaging your skin for a hint of colour? Hell no. Sure, fake tan may smell like biscuits and occasionally obtain a slight tango hue, but at least you're not risking your health in the process, right?

Rambling aside, a big change in my sun protection routine is down to me now using a facial SPF. Previously I would just spritz on whichever sun cream I was using on my body, which obviously, although isn't terrible, wasn't great for my skin. I also like to use something with a slightly higher protection on my face due to the skin being more delicate.

After doing a little research on facial sun creams, I came across a bunch of reviews of the Soap & Glory Sunshield Superfluid. An SPF 50+, the lightweight, translucent cream protects from both UVA and UVB rays, all whilst acting as a primer for your makeup. I find it applies like a dream, and gives a beautiful glowy appearance to my skin. The subtle, creamy tint ensures you're not left looking like Casper the ghost, however once blended in is completely trace-less. Having previously had trouble with sun creams breaking me out in the past, I was a little anxious as to whether this would do the same,
however I've since used it pretty much every day for just under a month, and have had absolutely no bother in the blemish department. Result.

Overall I absolutely love this product and will be picking up another as soon as it runs out. Unsurprisingly, I've found yet another product from Soap & Glory that I totally adore.

You can pick up a bottle of the Make Yourself Youthful Sunshield Superfluid spf 50+ both online and in store at Boots. Are you a fan?
