Fashion live at intu metro

Last Thursday I was invited down to the Intu MetroCentre by the fabulous people at Capital FM, to watch Fashion Live. The catwalk show, presented to shoppers daily from the 3rd-6th April, was held in association with HELLO! Magazine, highlighting all the latest trends and garments available to purchase in the mall. With brands from Primark and New Look to House of Fraser and Coast, there was something to suit every taste and budget.

Along with the floral prints, tweed and dresses, we were also treated to some serious dance moves. Between catwalks, the uberly cute and talented students from the Sage Academy kept us entertained with their routines, leaving everyone in the audience bopping along. The models also had a little boogie, too.

The Empty Shop also made an appearance next to the catwalk, a stall where shoppers were able to donate their old, unused clothing, where they will then be given to young, homeless individuals. A totally brilliant concept which will make a big difference. You can find out a little more information on the ES pop-up store and Centrepoint, here.

Overall I had a fabulous time and the show really introduced me to some of the brands in the mall that I wouldn't ordinarily shop from. Did you make it down to Fashion Live?
