Indeed Labs Hydraluron Moisture Booster

2013 was the year I really got into skincare. Slowly, it became less of a chore and more something I actually enjoyed. Serum, however, was a step I wasn't so fussed on carrying out. Something which, after adding this into my routine, I am now regretting.

The Winter months and my skin don't really get along. Any form of colour in my skin tone from the Summer months fades away, and in it's place comes a dry, and a seemingly dull complexion. Hot stuff. Hydraluron is something I'd been aware of for quite some time, after hearing many positive things, but the steep price tag was the key thing that had always put me off heading to the checkout. I didn't really think I could justify spending so much on one (what I though was an unnecessary) step in my skincare routine. However after being given a Boots gift card for Christmas, I pretty much snapped it up straight away. I've only been using this for around a week and a half, which isn't all that long to be doing a review, but already I've noticed really positive results.

Hydraluron contains Hyaluronic Acid - something which actually appears naturally in the skin. However, as you age, your skin starts to produce less. By adding more into the skin, it helps it to retain moisture. Capable of absorbing 1,000 times it's weight in water, Hydraluron helps to give those who use it, a hydrated, plump and glowing complexion. I've also found that any pesky acne scars and blemishes that I had, have begun to finally disappear since adding this into my routine.

As well as all the skin benefits highlighted above, the serum also doesn't contain any crap. Paraben free, fragrance free and 100% free of animal derived raw materials and organic solvent remnants. No nasties, no nothin'. It's also suitable for pretty much every skin type out there, too.  I apply this once a day, on an evening, before I hit the sack. However I've heard the results are actually better if you apply both morning and night, so I'm definitely going to be giving that a whirl.

Hydraluron retails at £24.99 from Boots, where you can pick it up both online (here) and in store. Something I definitely won't hesitate in doing when my tube is used up.

  1. I love this stuff, I apply it before my moisturiser on a morning and it works so well!
