A Night Of Paramore

Me and my boyfriend recently went on a little road trip... to Nottingham. Nottingham is by no means 'on the doorstep' for me or my dude, however the reason for the said road trip made it totally worth it... Paramore.
As me and M-dawg headed down to Nottingham a few hours before the gig so I decided to do a spot of street style photography for the Saint Kidd blog. I used to feel a little bit uncomfortable going over to people and asking for a photo of them as it looks a bit... creepy.

However I actually spotted Taylor from Paramore when he came and sat nearby us in the city square, so after initially talking myself out of doing it, I went over and asked for a shot of him - now I'm not so nervous about doing it anymore!

Earlier in the year,  Paramore announced they would be heading to the UK to do a six date tour. I'm not going to lie, since I've been a mahoosive fan of the band since I was about 14, and had never had the chance to see them perform live, I was pretty psyched when I got my hands on a pair of tickets.

I'd never seen so many people with bright orange hair in one place than when we were queuing up to get inside the arena - definitely Hayley's influence going on there, very awesome.

I was pretty chuffed when my pals over at Saint Kidd told me that Eliza and The Bear would be supporting Paramore, as I was already a fan. Think Two Door Cinema Club.. but even cooler.

L'il sis of Marina and The Diamonds, Charli XCX was the second support act - and she was equally great. Her confidence and stage presence were top notch too which is obviously a massive factor for when you're going to see a gig.

I didn't manage to get a shot of the rather groovy Charli XCX, however below I present you with a rather blurry shot of Eliza and The Bear doing their thing, for y'all to enjoy.

 Oh, and here's Paramore...

This night was 100% awesome - that's right, you heard me. I knew it was gonna be brilliant but I was totally blown away by the talent from both Paramore and the support acts.
The 6 month wait from getting tickets was absolutely worth it - after waiting 18 months to see Blink 182 from tour rescheduling, so this seemed like nothing in comparison!

If you ever get the chance to see Paramore live then you totally gotta do it - they were completely and utterly phenomenal.

  2. When I saw Paramore there was me with bright green hair, my friend with bright blue hair and then loads of bright orange haired people.
Hayley came on with pink hair. I think there was some disappointed people there. Bless them.

They are fantastic live though. I wish they had toured closer to me this year so I could have seen them again, bands keep choosing Manchester which is a fair distance when you're relying on public transport, also it'd mean having to stay over because the trains stop about 11. :( Wish they'd go to Liverpool now we have the Echo Arena,

    1. Aww man that sucks! Have you heard about Bleach London hitting the shelves of Boots? You might like the colours if you rock bold hair - totally wanna try 'Rose', it looks so pretty.

Well you never know, next time they're back in the UK touring they might stop by the Echo Arena haha ;)

  3. Insanely jealous that you got to see Paramore this year. I saw their last tour and it was incredible. If you haven't listened to Tonight Alive, you need to! So similar to Paramore's older days :) xxo
