Pitcher & Piano Review

A couple of weeks ago I visited Newcastle with my boyfriend. Now although I love the place, there were a couple of incentives which egged us to go.
The main reason; to hit the shops.
The second, yet also highly significant reason; to eat.
Now before you jump to conclusions, I didn't go for a parmo. Personally, I'm really not a fan. But each to their own, ey?
Instead, we headed to Pitcher & Piano after a lovely walk along the Quayside.
I've been here on quite a few occasions (not just in Newcastle, they're dotted all over the country!) and each time I've come away feeling satisfied.
The menu is extensive and reasonable. Combining that with the standard of food makes it even more worthwhile. The atmosphere in both the bar and restaurant sections is contemporary and sophisticated, and the staff are always very friendly.
After uhming and ahing over what to get, I decided to go for the Chicken, bacon and guacamole burger. To be honest, I love burgers, they're just brilliant in my opinion. So of course I was quite excited for it to arrive.

And wouldn't you be?!
This was one of the best burgers I've ever eaten.. and I've had a lot.
The bread, the chicken, the bacon. The chips and the guacamole. One word? Yum.
My boyfriend went for bangers and mash. I didn't manage to get a photo of this as he gobbled it down in record time. However I did have a taste and can tell you that it was equally delicious.
Yet again, I came away with a full stomach feeling very happy.
So if you are yet to visit Pitcher & Piano, I suggest you change that very soon!
Here's a link to the website so you can find your nearest restaurant
Here is also a very hazy photo of the Millennium Bridge. Apologies.
